Meet Dale… Teapot’s New PrestaShop Developer

It’s time to introduce a new Teapotter and more specifically a new member of our ecommerce team based here at our Bowdens Farm studio… Same questions as normal just a different Teapotter. Read on to find out more…

Who are you?

Hey, my name is Dale Stevens and I am the newest member of the PrestaShop web developer team.

When did you join the Teapot team?

Around three and a bit months ago I was warmly invited to embark on my journey to become a fully-fledged Teapotter and I haven’t looked back once. The ‘Teapotters’ have taken me in as one of their own and I couldn’t be happier in my position here at Teapot Creative.

What is your role?

I am a Junior Web Developer in the PrestaShop team working alongside Dan, Nick C & Ant. I’m learning the in’s and out’s of the e-commerce platform PrestaShop and have already dramatically expanded my knowledge and experience with some help from the other PrestaShop developers.

Two recently completed e-commerce websites that I’ve been involved in the creation of are lovekeepcreate.co.uk and doorcontrolsdirect.co.uk. Both projects were completely different and yet equally fascinating to be involved in.

Pre-Teapot…?

Travel, study, travel, study, travel, study… My time in the last few years has been spent working towards my BSc honours degree in computing and feeding my inner craving to travel. I’ve found myself in all sorts of places including on the otherside of the world riding a motorbike through the mountainous terrain of Vietnam and thousands of miles further on skiing down the snowy slopes of New Zealand’s South Island.

They were moments in my life that I will cherish forever but unfortunately there came a time when I had to find a place to settle and that place for me is right here at Teapot Creative.

Downtime…?

Football, football and… oh yeah. Football!

Future…?

What does the future hold? Maybe my next destination to explore will come calling, who knows! I hope to spend many years here at Teapot and one day become a senior web developer.
