A new look for an old school
Initially, we worked hard to pull the different elements of the Wellington School brand together, concentrating on colour consistency, tidying up the logo and continuity of layout. From here we could provide the school with a design framework to use for all their publicity material.
The finished postcards, banners, adverts, folders and stationery immediately gave the school a more polished and corporate feel befitting that of a high-end private school.
We designed and print managed the school’s new prospectuses for both Senior and Prep School. With a luxurious mat laminate on the front cover and glossy spot UV lion, they really stood out from the crowd.
Once we had developed the school’s brand and created guidelines for them, our first major job was to design and specify a sign scheme that reflected Wellington School’s identity. Unifying way finding signage around the entire campus (both senior and junior schools) whilst creating a house style in both manufacture and layout.
Following a full survey we produced a scheme of varying sign types for both wall and post mounted directional signs and feature signs.
Post mounted signs were made in an off-the-shelf aluminium system with the ability to add additional planks as required. The wall mounted panels were constructed from aluminium and red acrylic panels. This gave it an eye catching red pinline detail and hid the fixings.
