Somerset Art Weeks is back! SAW (Somerset Art Works) have been running the event each September since 1994 and giving artists from around the county an opportunity to exhibit their work to the public in a mass open studios event. This years event is running from Saturday 15th to Sunday 30th September.
The work displayed covers a huge range – everything from painting, pottery and photography to new media, textiles and sculpture. It is a great opportunity to support local artists and enjoy the rich artistic treasures Somerset has to offer. This year there are over 220 venues and more than 300 artists taking part by showing their work in houses, barns, sheds and studios across the county.
Just down the road from Teapot Creative’s headquarters in Hambridge, the village of Curry Mallet is hosting two exhibitions both of which we would recommend you investigate!
